CFSE 2022 will be held as scheduled October 26-28 at the new Hongdao International Convention and Exhibition Center in Qingdao. The show is expected to feature 1,000 exhibiting companies and more than 30,000 square meters of exhibit space.
Due to the potential for outbreaks of Covid-19 in Chinese cities, CFSE 2022 will again require enhanced biosecurity measures“ Although China has had very few cases of Covid-19 recently, CFSE will still feature enhanced safety measures such as mandatory mask wearing, sanitation stations and repeated temperature checks,” says Yang Hong, General Manager of Beijing-based Sea Fare (China) Ltd., CFSE Overseas Organizer.
Although Covid-19 vaccinations are rapidly become more widespread throughout China and much of the world, China still requires overseas visitors to quarantine for two weeks upon arrival. While Chinese officials say they eventually plan to suspend quarantine restrictions on overseas visitors, there is no official date as to when this is likely to happen. In the meantime, please visit the CFSE website on a regular basis to be updated on China’s evolving quarantine policies.
Meanwhile, China’s seafood market has started to rebound from the negative impacts of the Covid-19 pandemic, says Mrs. Ma Hongtao, Secretary General of the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade, Sub Council Agriculture (CCPIT-SSA), the CFSE organizer. “As long as we strengthen the whole process management from origin to market, China’s door for imported aquatic products will open even wider and wider to meet the growing domestic demand. I look forward to meeting our overseas participants this October. There will be much to celebrate!”
